fusion\u00f3 con el Instituto de Formaci\u00f3n Profesional Gregorio Mara\u00f1\u00f3n del barrio de Ugarte, este Instituto era el colegio p\u00fablico de dicho barrio. A partir de ese momento Canciller comenz\u00f3 a llamarse Ayala-Gregorio Mara\u00f1\u00f3n de Llodio.<\/p>\n

La asignatura de euskera entr\u00f3 en el curso 77-78, aunque era voluntaria y fuera del horario lectivo. A pesar de ello, en casi todos los cursos hubo clases. Cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, en el curso 81-82, el Instituto fue el primero de \u00c1lava en implantar el modelo D.<\/p>\n

En 2010, por razones pr\u00e1cticas, pas\u00f3 a llamarse IES Laudio BHI, dado que el nombre anterior era muy largo, adopt\u00f3 un nombre mucho m\u00e1s identificable y \u00fatil.<\/p>\n
